Step #4: Choose your Pater beads (typical style rosary)
The Pater beads are the six beads that come between the five decades and the three Ave beads at the beginning of the rosary. It is most common for the Pater beads to match the Ave beads, however sometimes a different type of bead is used for the Paters than the Aves. The choice is yours.
All faceted, smooth and satin finish glass beads are created in the Czech Republic. The faceted beads are Czech Firepolished Glass and the smooth and satin finish beads are Czech Druk glass. All choices are 6mm size beads. Email me privately if you'd like to upgrade to 8mm for an additional cost.
The Milifiori Art glass beads are created with the designs on the INSIDE of the bead so the colors will not rub off. The color of these beads is predominantly blue, however, there may also be a white bead or a yellow-hued bead as well. They're very beautiful.
I've tried to offer a large variety of bead choices that appeal to many, however, if you don't see what you're looking for, please contact me and I'll be happy to send you more ideas privately. The beading world is vast and there are many, many choices, which are always changing.
Preciosa Crystal Pearl beads begin with a crystal in the center, then they receive multiple, multiple coats of pearl lustre paint on the outside for a beautiful sheen. The coating can possibly wear off after repeated use. That being said, these are still the best faux pearls that I've found in my years of experience. Please be aware of this possible issue before purchase. Also, these beads are available in many colors. I only have the white pearls shown, but am happy to order other colors for you that you'd like upon request.
