Ladybug Miraculous Medal Rosary
Did you know that there is a legend that ladybugs got their name because of Our Lady?
"According to legend, a crisis was developing in Poland during the Middle Ages because swarms of insects were ruining the farmers’ crops. When the people prayed to Mary for help, small red bugs appeared and attacked the more destructive insects. The crops were saved. In gratitude, the people named these small red bugs, Ladybugs (Our Lady’s Bugs). Ladybugs are said to have 14 black spots, 7 representing the 7 sorrows of Mary and 7 representing the 7 joys of Mary."
